For the past 22 years, Professor Teodora Ildefonzo-Olmo, has trained under the instruction of Master Professor Samuel A. Lucas, 9th Degree Black Belt and has also had the honor to train under Great Grand Master Ralph Castro.

Professor Ildefonzo-Olmo is a San Francisco native, born and raised in Visitacion Valley. She started teaching martial arts in the late 90s at the Jamestown Community Center in San Francisco's Mission District.  Soon she had an opportunity to give back to her community and began teaching Shaolin Kenpo at Real Options for City Kids, located in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley.  Professor Ildefonzo-Olmo has always wanted to make martial arts accessible and affordable to San Francisco youth, which is evident through the community based organizations that she has be a part of.  Tiger Palm is housed under the Visitacion Valley Strong Families in San Francisco's Visitacion Valley.

 

Professor Ildefonzo-Olmo is a proud wife and mother of two amazing children. Her professional career has been focused on providing young people with quality programs that assists in ensuring their healthy development into adulthood. Professor Ildefonzo-Olmo holds a B.S. in Child and Adolescent Development and a Masters in Recreation, Parks and Tourism with a Nonprofit emphasis both from San Francisco State University.
